Services: Dragonflies and Butterflies

Phase 2 dragonfly or butterfly surveys may be required where initial surveys have indicated that the habitat is of value for these species assemblages.  The company has experience in undertaking transects and timed point counts for both dragonflies and butterflies.  This experience has been gained in a range of situations including:

• Monitoring to meet the requirements of a section 106 obligation in the Cotswold Water Park.
• Research into the correlation between environmental conditions in ponds and dragonfly populations.
• Informing detailed site management plans.
